Welcome to Print Audit Careers

Why Do People Love to Work at Print Audit?

We are looking for team members who take pride in their work, thrive in a fast paced environment, are committed and are determined. Most importantly though, we want people to love what they do.

"I love this fantastic group of people that come together with different and distinct skills..."

What is your role at Print Audit?

Den Mother, Cat Herder, Zoo Keeper...all apply at any given time.

Why did you choose Print Audit?

Well, it's been over 13 years since I met John but he was the reason I chose Print Audit. John's vision and excitement for the company was absolutely contagious.

What is the best part of working at Print Audit?

My teammates! I love this fantastic group of people that come together with different and distinct skills, who work together to create brilliant products and provide our customers with the best service and support.

What is your favorite Print Audit story?

OMG! So many stories, how can I pick just one...?

What is a typical day like at Print Audit?

We start our day with a morning huddle (no we don't do the Walmart chant), we bring all of our "Remotees" in via Google Hangouts and everyone takes a turn saying one good thing from the previous day and what their priority is for the coming day.  This is just one part of our effort to keep the communication flowing between departments, locations and team members. After the huddle...well...every day is different.  We put a high priority on meeting our client's needs so that is what guides our activities each day.

If you could live in any movie, which would it be and why?

Pirates of the Caribbean because who wouldn't want to travel the world with all of those crazy, fun adventures.

If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?

    The Tazmanian Devil, just cause.

I started with Print Audit over 11 years ago and the culture that I fell in love with then has stayed consistent...

What is your role at Print Audit?

Public Relations Specialist and Top 100 Summit Coordinator.

Why did you choose Print Audit?

The people, the culture. I started with Print Audit over 11 years ago and the culture that I fell in love with then has stayed consistent over the years. Not many companies can say that.

What is the best part of working at Print Audit?

Definitely the people I work with! I love coming to work everyday. Also I can’t forget to mention Beer/Wine 'O' Clock Fridays! It's nice to be able to sit-back and relax with my colleagues before the weekend begins.

What has been the biggest surprise about working at Print Audit?

Coming in one day to find a roll of toilet paper in the freezer...

What is your favorite Print Audit story?

Well, it involves my BFF (who also works at Print Audit) and I, a trip to Vegas, and WAY too many drinks.  As stated, we had decided to consume a "few" drinks and throught it would be a GREAT idea to get "married" by Elvis.  Then we thought it would be an even better idea to call the office, in the middle of the night, letting them know about our nuptials while singing at the top of our lungs.  They saved the voicemail...we are never going to live that one down!

If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?

    Duh...Batman! Batman always wins!

“Print Audit walks the talk in every regard--a truly refreshing difference that our customers feel too.”

What do you like most about working at Print Audit?

The parties and the 'family first' values.

What personal benefit have you received out of working here?

Having been involved in many companies and products in my career, I can say with certainty that Print Audit is different. A lot of companies pay lip service to being people focused, but Print Audit walks the talk in every regard -- a truly refreshing difference that our customers feel too.

What's your favorite Print Audit Story?

After only being with the company a few weeks, we had a company picnic. Due to a 'perfect storm' of circumstances, I found myself lying under a tree feeling extremely sorry for myself and thinking that I would likely be given the boot the very next day for making such a fool of myself. As it turned out, it was more of an initiation passage than a sackable offence. I wouldn't repeat it, but I certainly appreciated the work hard, play hard attitude.

How has Print Audit benefited your career?

My mother once asked me, "James, why don't you sell something that people want?" At the time I answered, "Mum, you just don't understand." Now, with the benefit of hindsight and experience, I know exactly what she meant. Print Audit saw a need in the market and built the best product out there to address that need. Combine that product excellence with an outstanding corporate culture and ongoing training programs, and it is easy to see why my family and I have seen my career soar.

“I’ve never worked for a company that puts so much emphasis on continual learning. I think it’s great.”

What do you like most about working at Print Audit?

I love the atmosphere that comes from everyone not only working together, but playing together. Print Audit has a casual professionalism that is really unique. Where else can you sit in a boardroom for an important meeting, while a sleepy dog lies at your feet?

What personal benefit have you received out of working here?

Print Audit's commitment to volunteerism is giving me the opportunity to become more active in my community, meet new people outside of work and feel like I'm making a positive social contribution.

What's your favorite Print Audit Story?

I love the fact that Print Audit raised a record amount of contributions for the Canadian Cancer Society, when John (Print Audit’s President and CEO) was "arrested" during their Jail-N-Bail campaign.

How has Print Audit benefited your career?

The encouragement to participate in courses and other learning events will help me build my skills and certainly develop my career further. I've never worked at a company that put so much emphasis on continued learning. I think it's great.

If you could live in any movie, which would it be and why?

I'm not a big TV/Movie watcher. But, when my children were young there were movies we watched over and over again. I love the water so probably Little Mermaid. I could recite every line and sing every song...just like the Little Mermaid according to my kids...ha ha ha.

What is the weirdest job you've ever had?

Carhop at an A&W.  I really did have to roller skate from car to car with a tray of food and heavy root beer mugs!

I am the VP of Business Development and Content Marketing. I work with existing and potential partners to further the value of Print Audit solutions to help office equipment dealers to grow their businesses.

Why did you choose Print Audit?

I chose Print Audit because their solution sets are poised to help office equipment dealers to evolve their practices to meet the needs of an increasingly digital world. Seat Based Billing (SBB) and user-based print governance are becoming essential solutions for the new office and Print Audit is leading the way.

What is the best part of working at Print Audit?

The best part of working at Print Audit is the transparency and openness of the management team with the rest of the Print Audit family. The integrity and values at Print Audit are demonstrated daily and it is extremely refreshing.

What has been the biggest surprise about working at Print Audit?

The crazy amounts of fun and productivity that occur on a daily basis. A day never goes by without a good laugh and an impressive amount of goal attention at the same time. Print Audit proves that you can have fun while being extremely productive.

If you had an extra $10, what would you spend it on?

    A Star Wars action figure.

If you could live in any movie, which would it be and why?

Star Wars. Because I am a real life Jedi and my talents are wasted here on Earth.

What is the weirdest job you've ever had?

I was "Curious George" in a roving theatre troupe that toured schools. The suit really sucked but at least the kids loved it. Worse job of my life after working for an Irrigation company in the rainiest summer ever.

Doctor Who. Who wouldn't want to spend some time in the TARDIS checking out the universe? Of course, I'd want to be one of the few characters that manages to survive the episode. (There was a movie that tied into the TV show so it counts, right?)

"The people I work with are great."

What is your role at Print Audit?

    Software Support Technician.

Why did you choose Print Audit?

After a few weeks of looking around at the various employment options, you get tired of the same sterile ads that everyone seems to use these days. So when you come across one looking for a 'Software Superhero' your Superhero senses start a-tingling...

What is the best part of working at Print Audit?

Definitely the company itself.  The people I work with are great, but I've seen that before in restaurants and call centers. You meet some great people, but the employer is the weak link, the one part of the situation all of you want to change... At PA we've got a lot of great people, but they aren't a consolation prize for working at a lousy employer.  That makes PA a unique and rewarding experience for me.

If you had an extra $10, what would you spend it on?

Timbits for the office, I pretty sure I'm well overdue.

If you could live in any movie, which would it be and why?

    2001: A Space Odyssey.

Simple, I'm in software support, the thought of anyone taking that kind of attitude and lip from HAL is personally and professionally offensive to me.

"Why did I choose Print Audit? A friend of mine had nothing but good things to say about the environment and the product, so I decided to take the plunge."

What is your role at Print Audit?

I am a software developer currently working on the Facilities Manager application.

Why did you choose Print Audit?

A friend of mine had recently been employed here and had nothing but good things to say about the environment and the product, so I decided to take the plunge.

What is the best part of working at Print Audit?

Morning meetings with Dave T's smooth, made for radio voice, while one of the office dogs sprints around the boardroom not unlike a proton in a particle accelerator.

What is your favorite Print Audit story?

So far, that would probably have to be the time an employee's entire desk vanished while they were away on vacation.

If you had an extra $10, what would you spend it on?

Probably something tremendously nerdriffic, like another X-Wing Miniatures expansion. Don't judge me.

If you could live in any movie, which would it be and why?

Kung Fury, because who wouldn't want to be struck by lightning while being simultaneously bitten by a cobra and subsequently receiving legendary kung fu mastery?

"Print Audit stands out in their commitment to serving their customer base."

What is your role at Print Audit?

I am the Manager of our Technical Support Team.

Why did you choose Print Audit?

I was impressed with their "above and beyond" approach to customer support. I've worked in other help desk environments but Print Audit stands out in their commitment to serving their customer base.

What is the best part of working at Print Audit?

The privilege of working with such a talented and dedicated group of people here at Print Audit. A lot of companies claim to emphasize "teamwork" but at Print Audit, it's not an industry buzzword. It's the day to day reality.

If you could live in any movie, which would it be and why?

Independence Day. Seriously, defeating an invasion by a superior alien race using a notebook computer. I'd really like to see that.

If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?

Bugs Bunny. He's easily outwitted Elmer Fudd, Marvin the Martian, the Tasmanian Devil and Wilie E. Coyote.

"The best part about Print Audit is the people and how dedicated we are to not only supporting our customers, but supporting each other while doing it."

What is your role at Print Audit?

    Director of Channel Management.

Why did you choose Print Audit?

I joined Print Audit to continue my career in software sales with a respected company in the industry that I’d already been working in for 15 years. Print Audit already had well established channel partners in place and we respect the channel by not going around our partners and selling to their end users directly.

What is the best part of working at Print Audit?

The people and how dedicated we are to not only supporting our customers, but supporting each other while doing it. Canadians are the nicest people on the planet. They take Southern Hospitality to a whole new level.

If you could live in any movie, which would it be and why?

Independence Day. Seriously, defeating an invasion by a superior alien race using a notebook computer. I'd really like to see that.

What has been the biggest surprise about working at Print Audit?

I would have to say, the HR department. There are really funny things that are said (and done) during the company meetings and company parties that would not be tolerated at most corporations. You are not walking around on eggshells and it is a super fun place to work.

What is your favorite Print Audit story?

My first business trip with our President and VP to visit customers in New Jersey was very memorable. When our President, John, checked into his hotel room, there was a large penis hand drawn in magic marker on the ceiling over his bed. Of course, within a matter of minutes, me, the other John, the hotel manager, and cleaning crew were all in John’s room stunned that something like this would happen at a Hilton of all places. John still jokes about this story today.

What is a typical day like at Print Audit?

We stay very busy, although, the communication from department to department is excellent which really helps out. Employees are always sharing good news from what happened the day before, what their priority is each day, and there is still time for fun. Friday’s are different in the late afternoon when the weekly “beer o’clock” starts.

If you could live in any movie, which would it be and why?:

Vegas Vacation, because I would be in Las Vegas. Although, I would probably be out of money within one week and have to find another movie to live in.

If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?

Jerry, from Tom and Jerry, since he is always outsmarting the cat.

What is the weirdest job you've ever had?

Detasseling corn on a farm in Indiana, Summer of 1988 – lasted only a week.
