Top Secret: Print Audit 2018 Strategic Initiatives

iStock-480733963.jpgWhat you are about to read is “Eyes Only” and contains content not designed for consumption by a general audience.  It contains statements and forward thinking content that are highly ambitious and bold in nature.  Those not looking to grow in 2018 should stop reading now.

Last week the senior management teams from both Print Audit & NeoStream came together to lay out plans for our 2018 year, and beyond. We locked ourselves in a boardroom and spent 2 full days refining current initiatives and introducing some bold new ones that are set to have a huge impact for us and our customers.   Here are some highlights of strategic initiatives for the year ahead:

The Year of Growth:  One of Print Audit’s core values is Growth and we’ve been doing a lot of that.  In 2018 our main theme is “The Year of Growth” and we will execute on this in a number of ways:

  • Infinite EVERYTHING:  In 2016 we released Infinite Device Management and 2018 will see a greater expansion of the Infinite family of products.  Infinite User Management (IUM) will debut in 2018 as will an Infinite document management solution.  Infinite options for managing devices, documents, and users.
  • Growing Sales: Print Audit’s current sales team is busy and we’re looking for 4 more people to join us and help us in our mission to “Save The Office Equipment Industry”.  Do you think you have what it takes?  Check out our Careers page and apply today!
  • The Growth Tree: The year of growth will be an internal focus as well.  We’ve created “The Growth Tree” and every time one of our employees completes some kind of learning initiative we will add a $10 leaf.  Our goal is to get to a thousand leaves and $10,000.  The money will be used to donate to 3 charities and the 3 Print Audit employees who did the most learning get to choose where the money goes.


Growth from Channel to Ecosystem:  The line between the office equipment channel and the managed I.T. services channel continues to blur.  Print Audit will be working hard to make sure that our Premier members and other customers benefit from channel convergence.   The channel is growing into a complex Ecosystem and new offerings will be developed to give our customers and ecosystem partners more ways to win.  Print Stream Security will become a big topic in 2018 and Print Audit will be leading the charge.

SBB & DBB:  Print Audit pioneered the Seat Based Billing (SBB) model for managed print and we will be adding Device Based Billing (DBB) to the mix in 2018.  Both models are great options for moving beyond CPP and Print Audit will ensure our Premier members have even more ways to win high margin business.  We will be launching a new series of roadshows in 2018 to ensure as many dealers as possible can benefit from these powerful new business models.

Infinite Insights:  The Insight BI dashboard has become a vital element for making sense of customer printing data for our Premier members and their customers alike.  2018 will see dramatic expansion of Insight to include more metrics to help dealers make better decisions as well as some predictive elements to help them save more money on managed print delivery.  Expertise in data analytics and actionable insights will continue to help Print Audit and our Premier members to win more business.

NMPS:  NO MORE PRINT SERVERS. Period.  Print servers are time consuming to manage for I.T., provide single points of failure, offer bottlenecks to performance and have no value in the modern office.  Direct I.P. printing and distributed control are far more advantageous for modern printing environments and can still be centrally managed using tools like Infinite Device Manager (IDM). Print Audit will not rest until print servers are a thing of the past, just like WINS servers and pagers.

2018 is set to be a fantastic year of growth!  Our 2018 strategic initiatives solidify Print Audit’s commitment to save the office equipment industry by focussing on growth, growth and more growth. New products, new business models, new Insights, new channel offerings, new employee learning opportunities and new ways for everybody to win more business.  We look forward to working with you to make 2018 the best year yet!
